Obituary of Ginger Lee Williams

Smethport - Ginger Lee Williams, 71, of Cyclone, passed away Friday (August 31, 2018) in the UPMC-Kane Hospital.

She was born Dec. 15, 1946 in Bradford, a daughter of Raymond L.and Phyllis E. Price Meeks.  On Nov. 30, 1968, in Rixford, PA, she married Norman Russell Williams, who survives.

Mrs. Williams was a graduate of  Bradford High School class of 1965.

She worked at the Kennedy Street Café and for Case Cutlery over the years.  She ultimately worked at Kmart before retiring.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by:

two daughters:  Jenny (Lenny Beane) Carpenter of Rew and Amanda (Sean) Stonemetz of Cyclone

five grandchildren: Brandi Williams, Russell (Jessica) Carpenter, Dustin Carpenter, Sydney Stonemetz and Noah Williams

three great grandchildren: Maddox Gelbhaar, Dalton Bunce and Harper Carpenter

one brother: Leroy (Judy) Meeks of Penn Yan, NY

one sister: Lynnette Clouser of Bradford and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Norman L. Williams, and one brother, Gerald R. Meeks.                                        

A celebration of life memorial will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at the Norwich Twp. Fire Hall in Crosby, PA, from 1-4 PM.
