Obituary of Barbara Jean Covert

Smethport-Barbara Jean Covert, 77, of Smethport, passed away on Thursday July 12, 2018, in UPMC Cole, Coudersport, PA.

Barbara was born in Olean, NY on July 23, 1940, a daughter of Joseph and Martha Leet Field.

She was a graduate of Smethport High School and had worked for Smethport Specialties and then for the Market Basket, later, Jubilee Store at Smethport in the Deli.

She was a member of the Coleville Christian Gospel Church.

She is survived by:

one sister: Sandra (Robert) Baldwin of Smethport

three stepdaughters and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two stepdaughters, one brother and one sister.

In keeping with Barb's wishes, services will be held privately.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.
