Obituary of Phyllis M. Brace

Smethport - Phyllis M. Brace, 87, of Cyclone, died Saturday (June 1, 2013) in the Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford. She was born June 1, 1926 in Cyclone, a daughter of Manley and Alma Wixon Brace. She was a graduate of Bradford High School and was a seamstress. She was a sewing instructor for Singer Sewing and had taught in Bradford and Warren. She had worked for JC Penney Co., Tate’s, and Princess Shop in Bradford over the years. She is survived by one sister: Adda M. Brace of Cyclone, PA one brother: Lee E. Brace of Cyclone, PA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Audrey J. Brace and Alta L. Kauffman, and a brother, Ralph A. Brace. Funeral and committal services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.
