Obituary of Thomas F. Bickford

Port Allegany – Tom "Bick" Bickford, a quiet good natured man, up to the end, passed away Saturday (October 11, 2014), at home with his wife and pets at his side. Married to his best friend Sue for 42 years, they have one daughter, Mikki (Rick) Heilig and two granddaughters, Lauren and Emily, all of Tucson, AZ, whom he loved dearly. Tom served in Vietnam and spent most of his life doing outside work, where he loved to be. He especially loved the Southwest desert, where he and his wife lived for 20 years. He grew up in Port Allegany with siblings Don Bickford, Linda Beeley, Jane Harrier, Joan Bartas, Tina Safford, and Joy Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joy Williams, and granddaughter Erica. Funeral services will be private per his request.
