Although I only recently met Dave this year at my son's basketball game, he quickly became a friend I would seek out at the games. We would sit together in the stands and chat for quite a while. He will be missed by everyone he met, and by many students. I know many of us parents owe him a big thank you for safely getting our children to and from school and the games. Also, for keeping the buses and vehicles in top shape. Dave was a true gentleman and I am so glad to have had the opportunity to meet him and get to know him.

I'll always remember Dave as a driver who took special care of the kids he drove. Every kid who ever stepped on that bus was his. When Emily was little, she'd get really upset if I picked her up early from school because she'd "rather ride home with Dave" Even when Em switched buses, we made sure Dave got fudge at Christmas because he had a special place in our hearts. I'll miss him at the games and at the fair. I hope you find comfort in knowing that he touched the lives of many, many kids and was loved and appreciated by them and their parents.
