I had the extreme pleasure of having Amanda live with me for the past several years. Amanda had the biggest heart of all the people I have ever known. She truely was a brilliant ray of sunshine in our lives and OUR memories of our dear daughter (that is exactly what she was to me) will never ever fade. The Lord has gotten the purest angel that will watch over and guide us for the rest of our lives. I know in my heart that she has the mind of Christ and all past transgressions made against her have been forgiven. She will no longer suffer with the various health problems that plagued her even though she fought thru them and managed to be on the dean's list....of with which we beamed with pride and extreme joy........hugging her and doing a happy dance for her. I love you Amanda...my sweet sweet girl.....I only have one regret that I was not given a lifetime to spend with you. You were given the key to the cage that held you baby...but now you are truely free!!! I will miss and love you for the rest of my life...I am so glad that I can feel and see you everywhere I go.....I know you are truely at peace.

Losing Amanda was a devastating loss to all of us. She was the glue that brought us all together at the end of the day. She was the sister that we never had. Amanda will be greatly missed. She was a very brilliant girl who meant alot. It is very devastating how something so precious can be gone in the blink of an eye and so often we forget that our actions and words effect everyone around us. As I tell my own daughters all the time, watch how you talk and treat others, because you do not know what tomorrow is going to bring and you don't want to regret your actions.
