I never had the honor of meeting Mrs. Kinney, but I do remember going to her house as a young child with my Dad to get the best sweet corn in this area...She was always working on something. I know who Mr. Kinney is and all I can say is that they must be wonderful parents and grandparents because I went to school with some of the kids and they are all great kids.....so sorry for your loss....may God guide you through this sad ordeal.....

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Aunt Hessie. When I read her obit, I had to smile when I got to the comment about her loving dogs of any kind. It fondly reminded me of the summer when I spent a week in Port Allegany with her, Uncle Ort and Mary Beth. They had a dog named Smitty that she and Mary Beth could make smile! It was the funniest thing. They would say his name in a higher pitched voice and he'd look right at them and smile! I loved my Aunt Hessie with all my heart and my thoughts and prayers go out to Uncle Ort, Mary Beth, and the rest of my cousins - Kris, Danny, Fred, Billie and Alan.

I was heartbroken to learn of Hess's passing. My most sincere sympathy to all her family. She was always so lovely to my children and me when we attended St.Gabriels. She and Ort both hold a special place in my heart and will always be fondly remembered. I hope you all keep nothing but good memories.
