Obituary of Ruth M. Bressan

____________________________________________________________________________ Port Allegany - Ruth M. Bressan, 81, of, Port Allegany, died Sunday (September 19, 2010) in Sena Kean Manor, Smethport. She was born May 21, 1929 in Emporium, a daughter of Howard and Myrtle Smith Butler, On October 1, 1947, in Port Allegany; she married Lawrence J Bressan, who died March 31, 1994. Mrs. Bressan was a 1947 graduate of Port Allegany High School. Mrs. Bressan was a Homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of St Gabriel's Church of Port Allegany and the Catholic Women's Club. She is survived by One daughter: Vera (Bill) Taylor of Little Genesee, NY three sons: David(Miltra) Bressan of Port Allegany, PA, Mark(Anna) Bressan of Smethport, PA, Roger(Donna) Bressan of Gainesville, GA Seven grandchildren and one great grandchild One sister: Shirley Bailey of Towanda, NY One brother: Robert Leavitt of Smethport, PA She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, Eugene Bressan. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7-9PM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 105 N. Main St., Port Allegany, PA where funeral and committal service will be held at 11:00 am Friday with the Rev. James Campbell, pastor of St Gabriel's Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in the St Gabriel's Cemetery, Port Allegany. Memorials may be made to S.W.
