Obituary of Richard D. Barber

Port Allegany - Richard D. Barber, 63, of Roulette, passed away Thursday (August 1, 2024) at UPMC Williamsport.

 

He was born December 4, 1960 in Port Allegany, the son of Maynard and Joyce (Schoonover) Barber. On September 14, 2019, in Keating Summit, PA, he married Tina M. Reisinger, who survives.

 

Mr. Barber was a graduate of Port Allegany High School Class of 1979 and was employed at several locations over the years. His last employement was at Potter Pak in Roulette.

 

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing darts.

 

In addition to his wife, Tina, he is survived by:

Four sons: Brandon Barber of Smethport, Zachary Barber of Crosby, DeWayne (Michele) Moore of Mechanicsville, NY, and Cody (Teri) Reisinger of Austin

One granddaughter: Braelie Moore

Two brothers: Steven W. (Carrie) Barber of Port Allegany and Eric (Jayne) Barber of New Philadelphia, OH

One sister: Angela (Patrick) Lucas of Titusville, PA

And several nieces and nephews

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Dorothy Fortner and Debra Johnson.

 

There will be no visitation or services at this time. A celebration of Richard’s life will be held in the near future.
