Q: What did Dorothy like to do in their free time?
A: Dorothy was an inspiration for me in our mutual interest in Slade family ancestry. She had such a wealth of information concerning our past which she shared via her family books and timeline poster. Her smile and gentle nature will be greatly missed. It will not be the same without her at the Slade family reunion but she will be there in spirit.

I am so sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. I met her when I was 13 yrs old There never was a more Kinder Sweeter giving person. Always had time to talk. Also God speed you will be missed.

Dear family, Dorothy’s laugh-smile was infectious along with her beautiful eyes. We had a wonderful visit with her about 3 weeks before her home going and it was filled with laughter and tears. All We could think of was how she missed her life long friends and family that had gone on before her. She had a beautiful voice as I remember hearing her sing at church as she praised her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amazing woman. She’ll be missed. We’ll see her again, in heaven.
