Many thoughts and prayers go out to the entire McKeirnan Family. Chuck touched many lives in the entire region. I loved the many great stories he would tell my kids when we saw him out and about. Always made me laugh at church when he would pick on the boys while sitting behind us.
An everlasting memory was when I got in trouble on his bus, I was in 7th grade. Yes I got in trouble and he gave me three cracks on the behind, they were well deserved. He then handed me a pen and said sign it. I did, handed the pen and the paddle back to him, he laughed a little and said welcome to club.
Many people won't understand, but when you road Chuck's bus and got to sign the paddle back then it was like a badge of honor.
His memory will live on forever

I was saddened to hear of my dear friends passing. He was my friend since we started third grade together. He was such a good friend for so many years. He was so kind to come to my husbands funeral in 2014 and I would like to attend his, but I moved away from Port Allegany I know Chuck was a good friend to many and I was blessed to be one of them.
