We are so very sorry to hear about Mr. Herzog's passing. The many fond memories from his Sunday school classes and his historical knowledge of Smethport history. He had so many wonderful history stories. Also his golf tips he gave me. Sending prayers to Mrs. Herzog, Kent, Scott and the grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. May you rest in peace, sir.

So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. What an impact he made on Smethport and the world! I grew up just a couple houses away from the Herzogs and always enjoyed a quick chat or hello from Jim. My heart goes out to Sylvia, Kent, Scott and the entire family. One time recently at work, in DC, I was standing at a desk in the office and there was a magnetic toy set of construction equipment on the desk of a senior leader…I flipped it over and sure enough it said “made in Smethport”. Jim will be so missed!

I am sorry for you loss. Kent and I were Classmates at SAHS and although we’ve lost touch over the years I pray your goodbyes are full of Grace and comfort. Mr. Herzog was not only the father of my classmate but I also worked at the Toy Factory one summer. Blessings on you amd your family through this loss.
