Obituary of Steven Michael Raszmann

Smethport - Steven Michael Raszmann, 31, of Crosby, died Tuesday (November 13, 2012) from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born May 26, 1981 in Port Allegany, a son of Tony Steve Raszmann and Carrie L. "Twerp" Stewart-Kisko. Mr. Raszmann was a 2000 graduate of Smethport High School and had worked in contracting and in automotive repair. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion; Bucktail Post #138 of Smethport and volunteered at the Norwich Twp. Fire Hall in Crosby and at Northern Tier Headstart. He was a devoted and loving father. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter: Brooke Shea "Unicorn" Arnold of Crosby, PA four sisters: Rhonda (Brian Barber) Holden of Cyclone, Kathy (Brad) Frontino of Smethport, Sandy (Gerard) Rettger of Duke Center, and Rachael Lee Thomas of Smethport one brother: Garry (Christi) Kisko of Hinesville, GA several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Geraldine and Gordon Stewart, his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Betty Raszmann, and an infant brother, Joseph Eugene Kisko. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Norwich Twp. Fire Hall, from 9 A.M to 11 A.M., at which time services will be held in the Fire Hall at 11 A.M., with the Rev. Allen D. Young, pastor of the East Smethport United Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Norwich Cemetery, Colegrove. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brooke Arnold College Trust, c/o Hamlin Bank & Trust, Smethport, PA 16749, or a charity of the donor's choice.
