Bob & Phyllis Faes posted a condolence
To the Anderson family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We will always remember Bob and the good times we shared through the years at camp, shooting darts, and riding motorcycles across the country. The look on Bob's face when he saw the huge billboard in Iowa advertising John Wayne's home was one to treasure. He will be missed.

Randy, Susan & Jason- My dearest condolences to all of you!! I will never forget Bob as he was a part of my life. One memory that sticks in my head is riding the bike from Smethport to Indiana, PA for a weekend getaway. That was always fun!! May you find peace and comfort during this difficult time. God Bless.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear Robert. I wasn't able to know him, but I do know the pain of loss. When I lost my grandfather I depended on the scriptures for comfort. One of such scriptures is John 5:28,29 where Jesus promised to bring our loved ones back to life. He showed us how and where he would do this when he resurrected his freind Lazarus back to life. (John 11:38-44) As we await the day that we hold those we have lost in our arms once again, please draw comfort knowing God is close to those whose hearts are broken. (Psalms 34:18)

My prayers go out to the Anderson and Benjamin Families. I am heart broken by the news of Bobby’s death. Bob was a great guy and tails of his adventures will be told around the camp fires. We spent many night at the old camp and later Lake’s camp all because Bob lead us there. He was the back bone of so much of our gatherings and activities. I had a great time with Bob and am glade I new him. Jerry Daley

Mr. Anderson was the first teacher at Smethport Elementary to make me feel welcome. I had moved from another state, but that didn't matter to him. I appreciated his kindness then and the memory of it now. He did a great job of caring for his students. To his family and friends, Jesus be your strength and comforter. He loves and cares for you so much. I know this firsthand, as I've experienced great loss too. Prayers are said for you and a sad heart is shared with you.
