Obituary of Wayne R. Barnett

Port Allegany - Wayne R. "Gabe" Barnett, 75, of, Port Allegany, died Monday (May 20, 2019) in the Lakeview Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Smethport.

 

He was born Mar 11, 1944 in Kane, a son of Wayne Reed and Helen M.Cochran Barnett.

 

Mr. Barnett was a 1962 graduate fo Smethport High School.

Mr. Barnett was a veteran of the US Army and was employed by Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in McKean County.  He was a member of the Port Allegany Methodist Church.

He loved his family, friends, His church and all sports.

 

He is survived byfour four daughters; Sonia Barnett of Arozina, Constance (Bryan) Nishimoto of Athens, AL, Deanna Robinson of Olean, NY and Angela Piechotka also in Arozina.

10 Grandchildreen and 4 Great Grandchildren

One sister; Helen (Robert) Eschrich of Bradford.                                                            .

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Shirley Warfle.

 

At Gabe’s request there will be no visitation or services at this time.
