Obituary of Mildred M. Keagle

Port Allegany - Mildred M. Keagle, 87, of Port Allegany, died Monday (August 24, 2009) in the Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport. She was born Oct 14, 1921 in Johnsonburg, a daughter of Russell E. and Bessie J. Jetter Galbraith, On June 7, 1941, in Johnsonburg, PA, she married Harry A. Keagle, who died April 13, 1988. Mrs. Keagle was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School. Mrs. Keagle worked for several local stors in Port Allegany. Her last employment was for Creative Children Daycare. She was a member of Port Allegany United Methodist Church, Morning Circle Group of the church and the American Legion Women Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons: James W. Keagle of Port Allegany, PA, Russell L. Keagle of Phoenix, AZ one grandson Steven Keagle of Boca Raton, Fl She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 6-8 PM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, 105 N Main St, Port Allegany, PA where funeral and committal service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday with the Rev Randall Headley, pastor, Port Allegany United Methodist Church officiating.
