Lucy (as I really knew her) was an amazing person. Amazing, because she always seemed to come out on top! I never met a person with such passion for life, her daughter and grandchildren. She did what she thought was best, although it didn't always agree with everyone else's desires for her. I spent many years being her friend, and especially being a friend to Kathy. Kathy accomplished more than her mother ever expected. Lucy was very persistent - I always called her "PITA" (Pain In The A--) because she never let up on her ideas and passions. She loved it and knew it was all in fun! I'm glad she knew the Lord and was a child of God. She is in a wonderful place. I hope most will remember her as a "special" person. Prayers and love for Kathy and Lucy's family.

Lucy I can't even begin to say what's on my mind I talked to u a few times since I moved back n I feel bad that life got in the way of our friendship. Kathy your mother was so proud of u her greatest accomplishment. And she just loved your babies.. we did so many things together u will be missed rip with the Lord until we meet again

I have known Lucy since 1985. She loved her daughter so very much. I know she struggled with her issues but she tried her hardest to be a good mom. She and I had many conversations over the years when we'd run into each other. I miss seeing her in her wheel chair and I pray that she has found peace and happiness with the Lord. Kathy I pray that when you remember your Mom you'll know how much she loved you and her grandchildren.
