Dave and Gloria: I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Travis. He was such a sweetheart to all his nurses, even though when we seen him-he was feeling his worst. He was always able to make me smile, all he had to do was chuckle with that small grin he had and it was over! He will be greatly missed by everyone who was apart of his 2nd home at childrens. Although he may of been there not feeling well, We really tried to make him as comfortable as he could be. You can believe he was never alone on 8south/9a because someone was always in his room talking to him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know his is breathing easy now, spending missed time with his mother.
If you would like to email me, I have a graduation picture that I would like to share with you.
Take care. I will miss chatting with you guys..

I had the honor of knowing Travis and his incredible family during his many stays at Children's Hospital. Travis touched my heart, as did Mr.and Mrs. Calhoun, with his integrity, love of life and courage. May he rest in the peace of his mother's arms.

Travis was an amazing young man. I had the privilege of knowing him since he was a baby and remember his mother when she first brought him to our CF Center. Travis was always so kind and gentle. No matter what kind of day he was having, Travis treated every one with respect. He was so courageous through out his battle with CF. Everyone from our CF center greatly admired Travis and cared deeply for him. I wish to express my deepest sympathy to his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Calhoun, and his entire family. Sincerely, Louise
