Aunt Maryetta was the sweetest, most gentle woman anyone could have had the honor of knowing. I wish I could be there for the family, but just returned from home this past week. I am so glad I had the opportunity to sit with her, pray for her, and be in the presence of a dear angel we all had in her. God rest your soul.

Maryetta touched so many lives, because she was such a good woman.
I remember visits with her, the peace and wisdom of her company, like a calm port in any storm. Maybe it was because she had weathered so many storms of her own, that her compassion was an instantaneous connection with people. The goodness flowed from her and enveloped all within her company.
I loved her then, and love her now. When we heard how gravely ill she was, our hearts stood vigil with yours, and you remain in our prayers at this time.

Grandma,
I just watched a slide show that I made for you after your funeral. I miss you terribly, and although I have no regrets, I wish I could have another day with you. We are having your Euchre/Yahtzee tournament this weekend. You would be so proud of all the work that has been put into this. We love and miss you each and every day! By the way, Broden recognizes you whenever he sees your picture and says, "Grandma." I promise to keep your memory alive in him.
